A celebration of spring, summer, and energy. Heralding in the summer sunshine with a night of Hardcore and Hard Dance! Zodiac 9 is proud to present you with an evening of reverly once again this June, celebrating the end of the school year and the beginning of summer! We've kept our doors open and after much debate and deliberation, the decisions were made to create a festival of lights and sound dedicated to those of you who like it HARD! One stage, One party, One night of nothing but hardcore and hard dance... just the way you like it!

Jon Sharkey is undoubtedly one of the most established names in the Hardcore scene. The legendary, jack of all trades has tried his hand at everything; starting in the early days of rave in ‘93 as an MC at the Rhythm Station for DJ Druid where he won countless awards for MC of the year, then moving on to production and DJing co-producing ‘Toytown’ one of the biggest anthems of the era on Essential Platinum and now in moulding the new talent of Hardcore and Freeform’s future. Sharkey is one of the founding DJ’s of the award winning Bonkers compilation series and now one of the main DJ’s on the Freeformation album. After his success with ‘Toytown’ James Horrocks, Resist’s front man, was keen to sign both Jon and Hixxy to mix the first Bonkers compilation. Jon also went on to mix on Bonkers 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16 and Best Of Bonkers. Bonkers is now the biggest Hardcore compilation album of all time and have gained gold and silver sales awards in the UK.

He established a relationship with the up-and-coming DJ Kevin Energy in 1998, and the pair were, with several other DJs, instrumental in the creation of the freeform genre of hardcore (a term which was coined by Sharkey himself). As the only UK Hardcore artist to try his hand at all aspects of Hardcore whether it be on the microphone, in the studio, as an engineer or as a DJ, Jon's successes in all of these fields place him as the most prolific Hardcore innovator of all time; not many can boast having tunes played on Radio One by John Peel. With this forward thinking artist album waiting in the wings alongside the exciting Kaotik project and yet more appearances and tours overseas, this is a reputation that is unlikely to falter.

Coming out of CA, Crackerjack has led a following that spans the entire west coast of america, jumping in unison to the massive tracks he consistantly drops. San Francisco's Bad Boy is back again for an exclusive all Hardcore set specifically for Electric Sunshine! After tearing it up at Broken Hearts this past february, Seattle asked if we would please bring him back for yet another round and we said Hell Yes! Always ready and eager to bring it even harder than before, Crackerjack is putting together this all new set just to show Seattle his appreciation. Be prepared as this bright star in the Hardcore scene takes the stage yet again this spring to blow your minds and ears away!
